Once your middleware is running, your endpoint should appear in the Bazaar within seconds. This page walks through confirming that, and what to check if it does not.

Confirm the listing exists

This returns every listing associated with your payTo. If your endpoint is here, cataloging worked.

Confirm it is searchable

If the resources call succeeds but search does not return your listing, the issue is textual relevance, not cataloging. Fix the describe block (see Declaring Discovery Metadata).

Nothing there?

In order of likelihood:
  1. No describe block. Cataloging only fires when describe is present.
  2. Facilitator URL mismatch. Confirm your middleware is pointed at the same facilitator you are querying.
  3. No traffic yet. Cataloging can be lazy on some builds. Send one real 402 (a test buyer or curl -X GET) to trigger it.
  4. Server not exposed. If your endpoint is behind a private hostname the facilitator cannot reach, delisting kicks in fast. Bind a publicly resolvable URL.

Ranked lower than expected?

Use the debug endpoint:
Each result gains a debug block breaking down its score. Common causes of a low rank:
  • Sparse describe: title and description carry most of the weight.
  • Low settle-to-verify ratio: buyers are quoting your endpoint but not paying, which suggests either your prices are off or your response schema does not match outputs.
  • Very new listing: fresh-boost ends after 48 hours. If you were only tested for two days, ranking drops.

Delist a listing you no longer want
